December Meeting

Hello Softball Families,

As 2021 nears the end, we begin to close the books on another successful year for both our youth and high school teams!!!  Please, join us for our last Club meeting of the year at the Walk-On Bar and Grill (upstairs) 6:30PM on Tuesday December 14, 2021.  We will quickly work through committee reports, summarize the year, complete officer elections, and enjoy social time afterwards (this part will be less quick).

Per our bylaws, three officer positions are up for election – Vice President, Treasurer, and Advisor #2.

There will be a softball parent at the door to direct parents and youth interested in attending up stairs to our meeting location. Appetizers and one round of drinks (adult and youth friendly) will be provided by the Club…or consider coming early to enjoy a full meal downstairs before attending the meeting. (The Walk-On Bar and Grill is a generous sponsor of the MHSC).

Troll Tourney ’22

Mount Horeb Softball Club is very excited to announce that we will be hosting our 1st Annual Troll Tourney ’22 on June 25th & 26th.   This will be a U12 & U14 tournament with separate “A” and “B” divisions for each age level.   Put it on your calendars!!

November Meeting

November is flying by and our next Club meeting is just around the corner.   Please, join us on Monday November 15th, 7:00PM at Culvers.  This is a great way to stay informed and get involved with your player’s team/club.

September Meeting

We hope everyone has transitioned back into school life and we wish all our players a fun and successful year!!  We hope you can find time to join us for our September Softball Club meeting next week.  We will be getting together at Culvers on Monday September 20th at 7PM.  This is a great opportunity to meet other softball families, learn about upcoming events, and provide input for the 2022 Mount Horeb youth tournament that is already starting to be planned.  …not to mention, it is also a good excuse to get some custard before and/or after the meeting:-)

Field #2 Dugouts

Look what’s happening at the softball fields!!!  With the hard work of volunteers on a Friday morning, the first dugout was assembled at Field #2. Thank you to our volunteer group:  John Hellenbrand (Hellenbrand Welding, Inc.), Adam Melka, Derek Dahlk, Rob Schreiber, Bill Walsh, Marc Rhiner, Michael Anderson, and Ryan Clifton.  Great work guys!!
