Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation
We want to thank everyone who came out and supported the charity fundraiser night at the home softball game on April 25th. Because of your support, which included proceeds from the concession stand, including snow cone and cotton candy sales, event t-shirt orders, and a 50/50 raffle, the Mount Horeb Softball community was able to donate over $600 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF).
JDRF is the leading global organization funding type 1 diabetes (T1D) research. Their vision is a world without type 1 diabetes. Their mission is accelerating life-changing breakthroughs to cure, prevent and treat type 1 diabetes and its complications.
If you are able and willing to make a cash donation to JDRF, please do so by visiting their website HERE: JDRF Donation. We appreciate your support!

Fall Ball ~ Week 6
The last games are here already! The season has gone fast. Week six’s games will be in Sauk City again this Sunday, but playing different teams than last time. The first game will be against Madison Memorial and the second against Madison East.
We will be playing at the Sauk Prairie High School fields located near the intersection of Sycamore and Oak Street.
Please be at the field by ~8:00 AM, with shoes on and ready to warm up shortly after. The first game starts at 9 AM.
A couple housekeeping items:
- If you are unable to make the game please text Coach Jeramie (608.516.9189) by Friday of each week so he can adjust the line-ups for the games.
- Looks like most players are not wearing our “fancy” jerseys, which is no problem, so please bring them to the game and return them to Kurt before the first game (always chaos after second game). They could come in handy some day and they were free so worth hanging onto.
Fall Ball ~ Week 5
Week 5’s location will be in Windsor at Fireman’s Park (6716 Park Street), which is about a 55 minute drive from Mount Horeb. We play DeForest Gold first, and then DeForest Blue.
Players should be at the field by ~8:00 a.m., with shoes on and ready to warm up by 8:15 a.m. at the latest. The first game starts at 9:00 a.m.
Both USH-131 at CTH-PD is closed this weekend, and CTH-P between Pine Bluff and Cross Plains remains closed.
Fall Ball ~ Week 4
Week four games will be at the Poynette High School (108 Cleveland Street) on Sunday, October 2nd. Fields are located South of the High School building. We will be playing Poynette Orange first, then Poynette Black. It looks like about a 55 minute drive.
Players should be at the field by ~8:00 AM, with shoes on and ready to warm up by 8:15 AM at the latest. The first game starts at 9 AM.
If you are unable to make a game please text Coach Jeramie (608-516-9189) by Friday of each week so he can adjust the line-ups for the games. It is very difficult to adjust line-ups on the fly the morning of the games. Please, respect Jeramie’s time and notify him if you cannot make it – thank you.
See you Sunday. Parents, please bring cameras so we can add pictures to the new website (www.mohosoftballclub.com).
Fall Ball ~ Week 2
The week two location will be at the West field at Twining Park in Monroe on Sunday, September 18th. Please be at the field by ~8:00 a.m. and be ready to warm up by 8:15 a.m. The first game begins at 9:00 a.m.
